Salmon River Brewery
THE CHALLENGE
Simple. Add more video! SRB has been a client for many years and the bulk of our content has always been still photography. And it is great photography, but we were seriously lacking in the video department.
THE SOLUTION
We made it a mission to post a reel with footage of the brewery, craft beer, brewing process, food, or general revelry (not stock images or animated graphics) at least once every 10 days. Some short, some detailed, but VIDEO!
THE RESULT
In the first 6 months of putting a focus on video and reels we posted 23 videos to Facebook (a 667% increase) and 27 to Instagram (an 800% increase).
Reels accounted for 4 of our top 5 posts in this 6-month period, averaging at least 2x the engagement of carousel or photo posts.
Our overall engagement rate increased to 6% (up 40%).
