THE CHALLENGE
Jug Mountain Ranch needed to re-engage its audience.
Much of the content pushed via social channels is informational – weekly dining specials, weekly live music, events, and more. And while these posts are 100% needed, they can be a bit stale after a while.
THE SOLUTION
Mix in some INSPIRATION with the INFORMATION. We wanted to change the point of view…instead of posting a Supper Club menu, we post a video of someone sipping a glass of wine and enjoying something from the menu. The goal is to make our content more active. This also meant crafting posts specific to each social platform based on our audience demographics and how they engage with our content.
THE RESULT
In the first 6 months of implementing this new focus, we saw
- A 22.5% increase in organic engagements on Instagram
- An 8.2% increase in our engagement rate on Instagram
- On Facebook, engagements were strong across the board, but link clicks really took off, growing 65.9%.
